The NorCal e30 Community Portal is now online. The new portal is designed to give owners, enthusiasts and related businesses a common forum through which to share their passion for their beloved BMWs.
What is an "e30"? It is the chassis designation for one of the most popular BMWs ever built. In many circles, the e30-bodied BMWs have become somewhat of a cult-classic and are still roaming the freeways, by-ways and city streets all over northern California. NorCal has one of the most dense populations of BMW vehicles in the world.

Naturally, what would any car-enthusiast site be without write-ups and articles about your favorite car? How about the projects you've been looking to get started on, or some technical information to aid you in the one you're already working on?
That's where NorCale30 comes in. We're currently looking for our members to submit their write-ups and how-to's for inclusion into the NorCale30 database. Photos, part numbers and step-by-step instructions are always a plus. We're working hard to get this published and up for everyone's benefit!

For the next revelation in the NorCale30 community, we're putting together an e30-of-the-month contest! The entry requirements are simple, and so is the process. For those interested in submitting their car up for the community to vote on, please log onto the forum and submit the following to "Jason" (Site Administrator) via Private Message (or PM):
- Year and model of your e30
- Current/recent photos of your e30 (the more the better)
- A little bit about yourself (why e30s, what you do, what your plans are for the car)
- Detailed list of modifications (if any)
- Desired shirt size (S, M, L, XL, or XXL)
The 5 best entries will be posted on the forum and the winner will be voted on, and chosen, by the members of our community! Winners will receive a pair of NorCale30.com decals, an embroidered NorCale30 Polo, and a full feature on the main site with photos...and a $50 gift card to spend on your beloved e30! Prize package is valued at $100!
